Aurora Expeditions, the Australian owned expedition operator, will be offering a fresh itinerary in Australia, starting from June 2021, onboard the Greg Mortimer.

Through a press release, CEO Monique Ponfoot said “After three decades at the forefront of polar expedition travel, we are beyond excited to be launching a season of incredibly unique expeditions that explore our beautiful island home.”

The Australian itineraries will include destinations such as the Antarctica (Commonwealth Bay and the Ross Sea), the Coral Coast, Kangaroo Island, Tasmania, Ningaloo Reef, the Bass Strait Islands and South West Edge.

More information on Aurora Expeditions new itineraries, expedition dates, activities and discounts will be available from the 4 March. With booking opening on Thursday 11 March 2021.

Established in 1991, Aurora Expeditions focuses on making the most of expeditions. The Greg Mortimer, their newest ship, was launched at the end of 2019. The Sylvia Earle will be set to sail in November 2021 and will become their second custom built ship.
